The Prospect Download Database is completely rebuilt every month with fresh and updated data. If you do not use your data within 28 days, we advise you to clean the list. We offer a range of list cleaning services which also enable you to clean any of your own in-house lists.

You can carry out free counts on your selections from the Prospect Download Business database. You will need to register, which is free of charge and your details will be protected under our privacy policy. Then log in to carry out your searches, based on a wide range of selection criteria.

No, the information you provide will not be passed on to any third parties or entered into any of our lists.

Your details may be used by Selectabase to update you on offers and products which may be of interest by email or mail, and you will always be given an opportunity to opt-out of receiving any future mailings.

The Prospect Download Business database is updated on a regular basis. Therefore, a saved search profile may now have different quantities available. If you order a previously saved search you will automatically be provided with the latest data.

Yes, when you’ve finished choosing your selection criteria on the Build Your List page click on Save Search before or after you carry out a count. You can give your saved search selection your own unique name to identify it in the future.

It will depend on the quantity you wish to order, the output fields you would like to include and if you pay as you go or order pre-paid credits. The cost is clearly given when you run a count for your list criteria. Simply complete the short form above and get started.

No, when you are building a list just use the ‘Previous Orders to Exclude’ option to change these settings. You can choose to exclude or not exclude previous orders from your count. You can also upload your own lists and exclude these from your new list.

There is a limit of 50,000 records per order with Prospect Download. If you require larger volumes please contact us on 01304 383838.

Yes, when you have done a count you can choose to order a smaller amount from the results shown and your order value will be recalculated automatically. This order can then be excluded from previous orders from the same search.

Payment for all lists is required in advance and can be made securely online using a credit or debit card or by purchasing pre-paid credits. When paying by payment card please ensure you enter the correct address details associated with your card, so that your order passes our stringent fraud prevention measures.

Each data order takes only a few minutes to process and extract. However, we do advise to allow approximately 1 working day to allow for a number of compliance and verification checks to be carried out by Selectabase prior to the release of business or consumer data. Part of these checks include:

– Confirmation of your industry (business type or activity)
– If you are a Financial Services provider you are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)
– You are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a data controller and therefore fit to handle consumer data
– A review of your selection criteria
– Details of the promotion planned and a copy of the actual marketing material you intend to use

If these checks have already been completed then your data order will be available straight away.

Once your order is approved you will be sent a notification email advising you to log in and securely download your data order.

PLEASE NOTE: In certain circumstances your data order may not be approved for release. In these cases we will notify you immediately, your order will be cancelled and a full refund completed via our payment provider within 1 working day (we are unable to confirm when funds will appear within your account as this is beyond our control and will depend on your bank and card provider, however we usually find this can take between 3-5 working days).

You will be able to download the file securely direct to your desktop, once you have paid. The file can be saved to any location on your local PC. Data is supplied as a CSV file, which means you can open the file using Microsoft Excel or most other spreadsheet applications.

You can use your downloaded list to carry out marketing, market research, mail order or promotional campaign for your business, as address details are provided as standard. If you have purchased telephone numbers as an additional field then you can also use these for telemarketing campaigns. Where applicable, all data is checked against the Corporate Telephone and Telephone Preference Service (CTPS and TPS) registers before being made available to you.
The list can only be used in accordance with our standard terms and conditions, which you must agree to before ordering.

When you buy your list you will be given the option to select single usage within 3 months, or multiple usage within 12 months.

To be compliant under GDPR, it is absolutely key to keep data fresh and up to date. Every month Prospect Download is updated with a fresh new feed of data. Therefore prior to re-using data that has a multiple use license, you must re-download the list from Prospect Download. Only records that are still valid to contact will be present within your list.
